The team at Connect You Too (Connectu2) has been busy helping the community get out and about during November 2021. It has been great getting our customers out on social trips including a popular location, the Remember When Cottage.

During the month of November 2021, we did a total of 1634 trips with a total of 86,821 service kms. Our popular destinations included 46 trips to Ballina; 111 trips to Coffs Harbour; 24 trips to the Gold Coast; 507 trips to Grafton; 177 trips to Lismore and 311 trips to the Yamba/Maclean area.

We managed to get the community to 347 Specialist appointments; 172 Hospital visits (Day Surgery drop off/pick-up); 183 GP appointments; 19 Dentist appointments & 413 shopping trips.

Our Airport Shuttle service resumed its normal pre-paid service, for bookings – email bookings@connectu2.org.au

Our Meals on Wheels service based in Iluka delivered 565 meals and 200 desserts during the month of November 2021. We were able to do welfare checks, have a quick chat and help our customers see a friendly face (even with our masks on).

Connect You Too’s Townsend office and Meals On Wheels (MOW Iluka) kitchen will be closed from 12pm Friday December 24 and will reopen on Tuesday January 4. NOTE:

MOW customers can order their extra frozen meals the week before to cover the kitchen closure time. Our Yamba Airport Shuttle will continue to operate on bookings only.
