Connect You Too (Connectu2) has been busy helping the community get out and about during May 2023.

In May 2023, we assisted with 2585 trips with a total of 96,128 service kms. Our popular destinations included 67 trips to Ballina; 126 trips to Coffs Harbour; 24 trips to the Gold Coast; 569 trips to Grafton; 107 trips to Lismore and 384 trips to the Yamba/Maclean area.

We managed to get the community to 1,282 Specialist and GP appointments; 163 Hospital visits (Day Surgery drop off/pick-up); 465 social trips & 500 shopping trips.

Our Meals on Wheels service based in Iluka delivered 912 meals and 312 desserts during May 2023. We were able to do welfare checks, have a quick chat and help our customers see a friendly face.

From July 1, Clarence Meals will be providing delivered meals to Iluka, Maclean and Yamba and surrounds from suppliers including Gourmet Meals, Lite n’ Easy and Meals on Wheels, Grafton. For more information call 6646 6742.
