Christingle carol service returns

Sunday December 4 at 6pm, St. James Anglican Church, 15 Wharf Street, Maclean. This very special Christmas carol service is resuming after the COVID lockdown.

It is a time to reflect on the real meaning of Christmas and sing one’s heart out with the well-known carols. Sister Ann and her orchestra will provide our music, and her children’s choir will participate. Our Community Choir will also provide items and our local Scottish dancers will liven up the church.  It could be said that the highlight of the evening is when the children, dressed as parts for the nativity scene, parade into church carrying their lit Christingle oranges – a very special moment. Supper is provided following the service.

A very warm welcome is extended to the whole community to come and join us.
