Changed traffic conditions and night work for the Woolgoolga to Ballina upgrade

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions and night work on the Pacific Highway and local roads from Monday 24 to Sunday 30 May for the Woolgoolga to Ballina upgrade, weather permitting.
From Monday, there will be five days of work next to the Pacific Highway between Pimlico and Wardell to carry out landscape maintenance. Motorists can expect lane and shoulder closures and traffic control at times between 6am and 6pm.
Also from Monday, there will be up to five days of work on the Pacific Highway between Wardell and Devils Pulpit to install and remove signage, transport materials and carry out line marking, maintenance and finishing work. Motorists can expect lane closures, traffic control, short stoppages and a reduced speed limit at times between 6am and 6pm.
The southbound U-turn near Nortons Road will be temporarily closed between 7am and 6pm on Monday. The next available U-turn for southbound motorists is about one kilometre south near Redgate Road.
Further south from Monday, there will be seven days of work on the Pacific Highway between Tyndale and Shark Creek to carry out pavement maintenance. Traffic controls will be in place for six nights from Tuesday. Motorists can expect lane closures, traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h at times between 6am and 6pm and 6pm and 6am.
On Tuesday, there will be up to four days of work on the Pacific Highway through the Pillar Valley to transport machinery and carry out fencing. Motorists can expect lane closures, traffic control and short stoppages at times between 6am and 6pm.
On Thursday, there will be two days of work next to the Pacific Highway between Maclean and Tyndale to carry out landscape maintenance. Motorists can expect lane closures and mobile traffic control at times between 6am and 6pm.
Additional changes to local roads
From Monday, there will be five days of work on Broadwater-Evans Head Road and the Broadwater interchange at Broadwater to continue building a shared pedestrian and cycle path. Motorists can expect lane closures and traffic control at times between 6am and 6pm.
Also from Monday, there will be up to five days of work on Tuckombil and Gap roads at Woodburn to carry out pavement maintenance and finishing work. Night work will be carried out over three nights from Tuesday. Motorists can expect traffic control and short stoppages at times between 6am and 6pm and 6pm and 6am.
From Wednesday, there will be three days of work on Redgate and Swan Bay New Italy roads at New Italy, to transport materials and carry out private access work. Motorists can expect lane closures and traffic control at times between 6am and 6pm.
On Friday, there will be one day of work on Eight Mile Lane to carry out maintenance work. Motorists can expect lane closures, traffic control, short stoppages and a reduced speed limit at times between 7am and 6pm.
