Welcome to 2023 Past President Bowlers and potential bowlers. Here we go with another big year for The Past Presidents Association.

So far it is looking busy, which started with our meeting and bowls day on February 12 at Wooli Bowling Club.

We finished 2022 with a fantastic day at Red Rock Bowling Club with a great attendance and lots of shenanigans on the green. The weather was great and so was the company and the food was exceptional. A great way to finish up a year of good friendship, enjoyed playing our favourite sport. Thank you, Red Rock Bowling Club, for hosting the day in the friendly and welcoming way that this club is known for.

There is excitement building for The State Friendship Carnival being held at Wooli Bowling Club from February 24, through until February 26. Each team must contain at least one Past President member and can be any combination of ladies and men. If you haven’t already, get your team together, then hurry up and do so, because this is a terrific carnival. There is plenty of accomodation in Wooli and the Carnival Coordinator, Geoff, will certainly be able to help you there. It has been a few years since we have been able to have a Friendship Carnival and we thank Wooli Bowling Club for hosting this event. There will be lots of old friends, many new friends, lots of laughs and top-quality food. Oh, and lots of bowls played.
