I cannot understand the no campaign claiming that a win for the Yes vote will create division. There is already division and has been for far too long. Much of the current feeling of division has been created by the politicisation of the Voice combined with negative unsubstantiated claims that are circulating.

The concept of the Voice is indigenous people consulting with government on matters specific to them. They have asked for this. It is practical and makes sense. This is a positive opportunity for recognition, and for reconciliation.

Let us do the right thing and put out a hand to assist our indigenous brothers and sisters, showing respect and compassion, understanding and goodwill by voting Yes.
