As tempting as it may be to use the Bulky Waste Collection for the contents of your shed or garage, please keep it to 2 cubic metres, or the size of a small box trailer. Our contractors need to get to everyone in the schedule and as close to the allocated date as possible, so please limit the size of your pile and the length of items (no longer than 1.5 metres in length).

Keep our contractors and our community safe and don’t leave hazardous waste like gas bottles, paint, car batteries, oil and tyres out on the kerb. These won’t be collected. Other things that won’t be collected include green waste and ewaste.

Important points to remember :

• The volume of waste must not exceed 2 cubic metres (one small box trailer size) and no item is to exceed 1.5 metres in length.
• A crew of two staff operate the clean up vehicle, so please make sure your items are not heavier than what 2 people can lift.
• Items are to be placed on the kerb where you normally put your wheely bin.
• Fridges and freezers will be collected in a separate collection event.
