Ed, On behalf of the Harwood Cricket Club 150th Celebrations Committee we would like to publicly thank those who attended and or supported all our events over the past weekend, to say it was a huge success is an understatement. We are continually in awe of the generosity from our community and those who support the game we love and are passionate about. To those who travelled, donated auction items, memorabilia and time to help make this weekend so great, our heartfelt thanks and appreciation. Our special guests Mark Taylor and Peter Parker were larger than life in real person and kept all of us well and truly entertained. For those who walked us down memory lane may we be strong, worthy stewards of the extraordinary legacy you have given us and our community as we know our grassroots sport was built on your, blood, sweat and tears. Harwood Cricket Club’s goal is to continue to strive and thrive and with that in mind our summer season kicks off again on Thursday October 5th, 4pm at Harwood Oval for training.
