Pheonix Talbot has taken out the Uner-8 mixed division of event three of the 2020 Woolworths Surfer Groms Comps Series held at Park Beach, Coffs Harbour, on Sunday September 27.

The Yamba goofy-footer shone in the punchy beach breaks, posting an excellent 8.00 wave score in the first of two finals.

Runner-up Jaya Suhendra (Byron Bay) put up a valiant fight, taking out the second final, but had to settle for second place due to having a lower high-wave score. 

The event consists of four different age divisions, from U8 to U14.
