A good field of 42 men and 21 ladies contested a single Stableford event on Monday October 11.

The men’s winner was David Grant with 42 points followed by Doug Brown with 39 points. Doug just started playing and is on a very high handicap. I played with Doug and suggest that his handicap will fall rapidly.

The ball rundown went to 35 points and included Peter Auliff, Mike Grills, Brian Smith, Guy Carpenter, Wayne Rice, Doug Luckie, Alex Podbereski and Warren Hughes.  

NTP’s: 3rd hole – Jan Dampney; 12th hole – David Grant.

The ladies’ winner was evergreen Dulcie Nurse with a fine 39 points followed by Jenny Fagan with 38 points.

The ball rundown went to 36 points and included Cathy Pautsch and Jenny Bydder.
