Yamba Breakers grand final success

The Yamba Breakers Football Club’s U12 team has emerged victorious in this year’s Premiership, triumphing in the grand final decider with a 2-1 win over the Westland Tigers. The thrilling final took place on Saturday, September 16 at Coutts Crossing, marking a memorable day for the young players.

This achievement is a testament to the dedication and teamwork exhibited by the all-boys team, who have been playing together for the past three years. Impressively, they have clinched victory in all three of their grand final games.

Coach Roberto Martini expressed his pride in the team’s accomplishments, stating, “The boys have worked hard this season, showing commitment to their training sessions. At the outset of the season, we set our sights on reaching the grand final, and today, we’ve not only reached it but have also fulfilled our dream. I’m incredibly proud of each and every one of the boys.”

The young champions are not resting on their laurels. They are gearing up for their next challenge as they prepare to face the Woolgoolga Sharks in the upcoming Zone Championships, organised by North Coast Football. This event promises to be another exciting opportunity for the team to showcase their skills and sportsmanship.
