With our many thanks

Ed,

May I, through your newspaper, extend to all at the Clarence River Historical Society, and president, Pat James, our thanks for the welcome accorded us when my husband George and I visited recently.

I was honoured to present, on behalf of the family, a quilt symbolising Grafton’s spirit and heritage. Made by Jennifer Gully (nee Croswell) for my sister Helen Condoleon (nee Langley), and following my sister’s death, the quilt was recently returned from Greece and bequeathed by her to the society.

May we also praise Emma Pritchard for her sincere and accurate reporting of the presentation published in your newspaper.  We enjoyed a special and beautiful occasion.

Lexie and George Cassimaty,

Brighon-Le-Sands
