While fuelling up in Ulmarra recently, an English accent couple asked us, “Where is the castle in Ulmarra?”

We said, “There is no castle”.

They said, “But it is advertised on the highway and just before Ulmarra on Big River Way”.

We had to have a look and yes there is a castle on the brown tourist sign stating the historic town of Ulmarra. We have a laugh every time we see this sign and hope others will after reading this story.
