What an honour for Yamba lady golfers

Yamba ladies are really excited with the news that Yamba Golf and Country Club will be hosting the Women’s NSW Open Championship in 2024. What an honour!

Our first Wednesday Monthly Medal round for 2023 had a field of 56 ladies.

B Grade: Sue Wilson 73

C Grade: Terri Collingburn 75

C GRADE: Nett – Terri Collingburn 75; Gross – Terri Collingburn 110; Nett r/up – Kathy Lollback 77 c/b; Putting – Terri Collingburn 27 putts.

Nine-holer competition: Karen Mills won with an impressive 22 points. Prue McLaughlin won the NTP.

The Friday Single Stableford saw 52 ladies play in very warm conditions, but there was still one very impressive score of 38 points for Marg Fishburn. And well done to Terri Collingburn backing up with another win.

The Saturday morning Single Stableford attracted 12 ladies, including Kate Morris who played her first competition game. Tiffany Lee was the winner with 35 points on a c/b from Jenny Moody. Jane Bonner won the NTP.
