Members of the Clarence Valley Vietnam Veterans Association are inviting Clarence Valley residents to attend a commemoration service at Grafton’s Memorial Park on Vietnam Veteran’s Day, August 18.

The event is being held in recognition of the 60000 Australians who served in the Vietnam War (1955-1975).

2023 also marks the 50th anniversary of the proclamation to end Australia’s involvement in the Vietnam War, the longest conflict our countrymen have served in.

The commemoration service will commence at 5pm, followed by a dinner at the Grafton District Services Club (GDSC) at 6:30pm.

Tickets cost $35 per person and includes a meal and beverages.
