For visitors travelling into Maclean along the River Road, it must be quite daunting to say the least.

Overgrown grass two metres high on each side of the road for several k’s, and a sign displaying credit for “TIDY TOWN”. When is the council going to mow this section of the council area? Or is it not in the council district, as it is 50k’s from Grafton.

It is not very appealing to the tourist and word soon gets around regarding the disgusting appearance of our northern entrance.
