Ulmarra celebrates Christmas in July

Emma Pritchard

December 25 may be six months away, but the spirit of Christmas and its seasonal festivities will transform a Clarence Valley property into a winter wonderland this weekend.

Celebrating a unique country style Christmas in July amidst the rural splendour of Ulmarra, more than 400 guests will be welcomed to Wendy Gordon’s farm on July 8 for a full day of live entertainment, including a Dolly Parton tribute performance by Donella Waters, along with a delicious traditional Christmas roast and mouth-watering desserts.

With grey nomads, holiday enthusiasts, and visitors travelling from as far as Maryborough and Cooma to attend this special event, (along with Santa who may sneak into the Clarence Valley to surprise attendees), there will be plenty of laughter and friendships shared and celebrated on the day.

Guests are also invited to stay overnight on Ms Gordon’s property at 11 Coulters Lane in self-contained vehicles.

Christmas in July will run from 9am-5:30pm.

Booking are essential.
