Celebration luncheon.

Three decades for Maclean Orchid Society

Our Club’s 30th Anniversary celebration took place at the Harwood Hotel on Friday July 29, for our very cheering and delicious luncheon. Thanks to our many loyal founding members, now President Judy Abbott, and great team of volunteering members, supporters, including judges and sponsors, with much appreciation.

As we also give thanks for our long-time venues, from the Maclean Bowls Club our shows will soon take place in future at a beautiful new venue, the Showground.

Preceding our meeting in September, the pre-show display will be held at Yamba Fair, on Friday and Saturday September 9-10, during shopping hours; and our Spring Show at the Maclean Showground Friday and Saturday September 23-24, at times to be advised.

We congratulate all our title bearers installed at our AGM on July 16, including our newly appointed treasurer Sue Mackay Davidson, as we thank Helen Connolly sincerely for her appreciated preceding contribution in this role.

Our AGM in July saw 59 beautiful plants benched, to admire and assess.
