From the bottom of hearts, we say thank you for allowing the Clarence Valley Independent to be distributed from your premises every week.

As you would no doubt be aware, the newspaper will be going to a paid format as from next week’s edition and will not be available free of charge after this week.

Over the years your organisation has allowed local residents to access your space and collect their weekly newspaper and you have played an integral part in fostering the popularity of the Independent.

Some of you have in fact shared a relationship with the CV Independent for all our 30 years of publication and for this we are especially thankful.

The decision to go to a paid paper was made purely in the light of our continued existence as it was becoming impossible to “give the paper away” anymore.

Again, we are so appreciative of your involvement with our growth over the decades and we wish you and your business every success in the future.
