As you all know the Club has been closed over the holiday period while our Greenkeeper, Wayne Eaton refurbished our Green. We will however be back bowling from Tuesday, January 26; commencing with a mixed “Australia Day” bowls and luncheon event. Morning tea 9am for a 9.30 start at a cost of $17, lunch and play inclusive. Prizes for the best and most original “fair dinkum Ocker” costume along with many other competition prizes including best damper. For those SGBC members, social or fully affiliated interested in taking part, there is a list on the Club notice board. Alternatively they can call one of the Events committee members on 6642 6427, 6644 5944 or 6649 4443. This was a top family day last year. Let’s make it the same for 2016. On a less happy note the members of South Grafton Bowling Sport & Recreation Club, both men and women, were saddened to hear of the passing of long time Club member, Geoff Williams after a prolonged illness.
