Clarence Valley residents are being invited to share their special memories and memorabilia connected to the Grafton Show with their local community.

Photos, posters, cards, entry tickets, awards, and newspaper clippings, will all feature in a historical display to celebrate the 150th Grafton Show at the popular annual event next year.

2023 Woman of the Land, Reny Dooley, said it will be a great way for people to show their past involvement with the Grafton Show through the years as it approaches a milestone celebration.

“It’s also going to be another great way to show younger generations the history and hard work that went into making our show what it is today,” she said.

While the Grafton Show was first held in the 1860s, 2024 will mark the 150th occasion it will be held after numerous floods and World War II prevented the festivity from being held in previous years.

Anyone with Grafton Show memories and memorabilia they wish to share are invited to contact the Grafton Show Society on 6642 2240.
