Ed,  With reference to Lee-Anne Jones letter (CVI 4/10/17) re council approval of the new service station at Treelands Drive and Yamba Road. By my understanding approval or a final decision has not been made regarding “traffic lights”, or a “roundabout”. Let’s hope that our council have proper consultation on those choices at this intersection. Imagine the current stream of road worker’s waiting for traffic lights to change on their usual morning rush to work. Also let’s hope that the consultation on this reflects our local community’s wishes by our representative councillors. Unfortunately a mistake was made a while ago regarding the rezoning of this land, allowing this type of development, which will create a lot of problems at this busy intersection. Will Clarence Valley Council learn anything from this issue? Terry Hudson, Yamba
