Several Clarence Valley residents posted on Facebook that traffic diversions were in place, and motorists were being advised to avoid the area as vehicles began to queue in long lines.

Following inquiries by the Clarence Valley Independent, a statement issued by police media on Monday, March 13, revealed a self-harm related incident occurred at the location over the weekend.

No further information was available at the time of publication.
