As they graciously welcomed a large crowd through the doors of their newly constructed premises in South Grafton during its grand opening on May 5, staff of Parkview Funeral Home smiled proudly as they introduced themselves to the Clarence Valley community, and took the first steps towards building a dynamic network within the local region while demonstrating the professionalism and integrity which has seen the business become one of the most reputable in Northern NSW.

With offices already established in Lismore, Casino, and Ballina, Funeral Director and Manager of the new facility Sharon Cannon said Parkview Funeral Home is proud to be open for business locally.

Offering personalised funeral and pre-planning services while supporting and comforting families grieving the loss of a loved one, Parkview Funeral Home is committed to providing the highest standard of dignified care.

As she extended her appreciation towards the Clarence Valley community for welcoming them to the region, Ms Cannon revealed they are also looking forward to growing the business locally.

“We are proud to be here and to be part of this community,” she said.

“Parkview Funeral Home have a compassionate team of industry professionals of the highest standard, which is in-keeping with our values, and our focus is to create a meaningful farewell which honours the life of your loved one while taking care of every aspect which needs to be done, allowing the family to be together and to grieve.

“We formalise the paperwork, liaise with local churches, florists, caterers, and other venues, and we also work with the NSW Registry of Births, Deaths, and Marriages, and Centrelink.

“We say to people, ‘let us take your loved one into our care’, and we tailor to what the family would like when celebrating the life of their loved one.

“The family is our number one priority.

“Parkview Funeral Home has received some wonderful and appreciative feedback, and we are committed to continuing our professional services here in the Clarence Valley.”

Describing the grand opening earlier this month as a great success which attracted an enthusiastic group of more than 60 attendees, including Member for Clarence Richie Williamson who officially opened the premises, Ms Cannon said people were extremely impressed with the layout and style of the new building, which includes state-of-the-art facilities, the Gwydir Chapel which can accommodate up to 180 guests, live-streaming technology, and private function rooms.

As they continue to build their profile locally, Ms Cannon said Parkview Funeral Home are also looking forward to welcoming new staff members into their team.

Parkview Funeral Home is located at 27 Cowan Street, South Grafton.
