Valley Watch hosted the newly formed Clarence Chapter of Ozfish at their stall at the Yamba River Markets last Sunday and there were some inspiring discussions about improving water quality after the recent floods and related fish kills.

Ozfish & Valley Watch will be working closely with Clarence Valley Council on the new Clarence Estuary Management Plan. Recent flooding in Yamba was also a hot topic and many stories from the effects of the West Yamba development were relayed to us by locals.

We collected lots of signatures on our petition to Council requesting a well-designed Master Plan for West Yamba and Environmental Impact Statement before any further development is considered.
