Optus switches on new tower in Waterview Heights

Optus has switched on a new tower providing 4G and 5G services in Waterview Heights to enhance coverage and connectivity across the Optus mobile network in the region.

The new tower, which will benefit Waterview Heights and nearby residents as well as commuters travelling via Eatonsville Rd and some part of Rogan Bridge Road, is part of a multi-million-dollar investment into the Optus Network across North New South Wales.

Optus has switched on 13 new mobile sites in the Page Federal Electorate since 2020, bringing improved connectivity and choice to residents and businesses.

Optus Local General Manager for Regional New South Wales, Chris Simon, said Optus is committed to giving customers the best possible experience on the network.

“We know that our customers who will live in or visit the region want enhanced connectivity, whether at home or on the go,” he said.

“This tower expands Optus’ coverage area to include major roads and nearby properties, providing an improved network connection for residents, commuters and tourists passing through the region.”

The new tower, located on Rogan Bridge Road, will also provide the Waterview Heights community with greater mobile competition and choice.
