October U3A Jabberfest

Regrettably, we must inform our U3A membership that we are again compelled to cancel the Grafton U3A Jabberfest for October and hope and pray that the four square meter restrictions will be lifted in time for us to conduct a November Jabberfest, which would happen on Monday the eighth.

Should this transpire we will finally be able to have the day commence with the long-awaited Annual General Meeting and the election of officers and Committee.

The guest speaker for November will be Steve Young who will talk to us about his specialised form of photography where the subjects photographed are microfossils, and as could be expected there would be many of his subjects shown on the screen. Sounds very interesting.

All being well we would also like to have another Jabberfest on December 13, which would be a little out of the ordinary as we would not normally meet in December for a Jabberfest.

The usual Christmas gathering is also scheduled for a week earlier being Monday, December 6 at the Golf Club.

We expect that the November and December meetings will all require those attending to have had their double vaccines .

Some of the usual courses have recommenced and we would encourage members to contact the course leaders for details.
