Changed traffic conditions on Serpentine Channel South Bank Road at Harwood Island

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from next week on Serpentine Channel South Bank Road at Harwood Island to carry out safety improvement work.

One lane will be closed from Monday October 11 just east of the new motorway with alternating flow arrangements and a reduced speed limit in place while work is carried out to reduce some sharp curves just south of Serpentine Channel, improving safety for all road users.

Work will be carried out from 7am to 6pm on weekdays and 8am to 1pm on Saturdays, and is expected to be complete in two months, weather permitting.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.

Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
