MHS 13s ‘Bats’ progress through to the State semi finals in the Country Cup

The Maclean High School Rugby League program has been doing wonders for the students at Maclean, with three teams progressing through to the Regional finals in the Country Cup in Ballina. This feat has not been achieved by any school for 25 years. The 13s, 15s and Opens all progressed after wins in the earlier gala days held in Lismore and Grafton.

The 13s Bats where successful in progressing through to the State semi finals after a convincing win in the final against Woodlawn College Lismore. This follows strong wins against Murwillumbah High School, Grafton High and Macaulay Catholic College in earlier games. They now play in Coffs Harbour on July 31 in the State semis.
