The annual ‘Val George Day’ Christmas sponsorship on Wednesday November 24 didn’t disappoint. There were our anticipated Christmas puddings and cakes and various other treats up for grabs to all that participated in the day. Thank you, Val for all your effort in making this day special.
A field of 37 players took the challenge in the hope of winning one of Val’s famous prizes and for us not so lucky, we opted for buying lots of raffle tickets in the hope that our names would be called out.
Rain didn’t dampen our spirits and the successful winners on the day were:
Marlene Roberts & Pauline Ryan with 49 points and runners up were Kate Apps and Sonia Bonaccorsi with 45 points.
Club balls went to Vero Morgan & Sheree Forsythe, Amanda Barwick & Hennie Taranto, Gai Blackman & Chris Hartley, Chris Forrester & Nancy Phillips, Kim Moore & Molly Plunkett.

Raffle winners: It was Sandra Jenkins lucky day winning three of the great prizes with Helen Graney, Vero Morgan and Carol Cart. Congratulations to all our winners today.
