Our November meeting was held on Monday 23 and was attended by 33 members with 24 visitors and six apologies.   

It is with sadness that I have to inform all our members that Roger Jones, a member of Ballina and an associate member of Maclean Sub Branch passed away on November 26. Roger was always willing to assist anyone who needed it. He will be missed.   

The last month has also seen the funerals for three more ex-service personnel: Kevin Jones OAM, S Barrett and F Pond.   

We had two applications for membership which were accepted: K Jessup and G Guile.  

Our social club is investigating the feasibility of holding a fundraiser at the Yamba Cinema, this will be progressed in the new year when hopefully there will be less restrictions.  

Our next meeting will be on Monday January 18 due to our normal meeting date falling on the public holiday for Australia Day.  The executive wishes all our members and their families a safe, prosperous and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
