On Anzac Day, Sunday April 25, the Maclean RSL sub-Branch will be conducting a Dawn Service at the Maclean War Memorial at 5.30am.

Veterans are requested to assemble at the SPAR on River Street by 10.30am for a parade to the Memorial. The Grafton Vintage Motor Vehicle Club will be available to transport veterans who wish to participate in the parade but are unable to march. The main service will commence at 11am with limited seating due to COVID distancing requirements.

A luncheon will be held at the Maclean Bowling Club at 12.30pm. Limited seating is available with priority given to veterans and their spouse, partner or carer. Contact the secretary on 0415 400 658 before April 16 for tickets.

The public are invited to attend and may lay wreaths at the Memorial during the main service or at any other time of the day. Maintaining an appropriate social distance is required and those wishing to be seated should arrive early to register via QR code or prior by contacting the Secretary.

A smaller Dawn Service will be conducted at the Chatsworth War Memorial at 5.30am and a parade of veterans and students commencing at 10.45am will proceed from the Iluka Public school to the War Memorial for the local main service.
