Loving Life farewell Paul and Carol Ordish

After almost 20 years of service to the Clarence Valley community in radio, Paul and Carol Ordish have been acknowledged by their colleagues at Loving Life FM 103.1 when recently retiring from their roles.

The station first obtained a permanent licence in April 2000, with Paul and Carol playing a pivotal role until 2008, when Paul stepped down as breakfast announcer and program director.

They re-joined the station in May 2015, when it shifted to its current Fitzroy Street location, making a major contribution to recruiting volunteers, supporting community events and promoting the “better music” guarantee.

President of Loving Life FM 103.1 Ken Tucker said: “We wish Paul and Carol all the best in their retirement from volunteer duties at the station and thank them for their lasting legacy, especially their efforts over the last three years”.

Paul has been succeeded by Damien Fisher, as presenter of Loving Life’s new breakfast show and Emma Ocholla, who is providing media production services.
