Ed,

I wonder why Councillors, who are elected by their local community, are paid by their local community cannot understand we put them there to look after our interests, and be prepared to listen to our concerns, instead of taking matters into their own hands and deciding what they think is best for us? 

Perhaps we might have to have a rethink of this situation and decide at the next council election what they think we want is not what we want, and we find a better alternative to look after our concerns.
