A good field of 55 players contested a Single Stapleford event on Monday June 1.

Don Maling was the men’s winner with 39 points after a determined countback from Danny Quinn also on 39 points.

The ball rundown went to 33 points, it was a close contest as the first four men all got 36 points. These included Wayne Rice, Bob Walpole, Terry Winser, Noel Bushell, Terry Cumiskey, Alex Miltiadou, Mike Grills, John Daley, Bruce Ziestch, Ray Scovell and Keith Cromack.

Lesley Love was the lady winner with 37 points followed by Lynne M White with 36 points.

The ball rundown went to 33 points and included Lee Daley, Noni Rixon, Angala Walpole and Janine Ziestch.
