The Lawrence Fishing Club held their monthly outing for September 2023 last weekend with the weigh in on Sunday at The Lawrence Tavern. Our thanks and appreciation as always to The Lawrence Tavern for accommodating us again and for their ongoing support. 

A very small gathering this month, so hoping our special outing next month will bring the anglers and the fish out. This outing saw 10 members who fished with a total 9.95kgs weight, consisting of eight bream, seven flathead, three blackfish and three tailor.

Estuary winners

Men’s winner – Allan Cannon.

Ladies’ winner – Hayley Carmichael. 

Secret weight winner – Cyril Lawrence.

Junior winner – Parker Bancroft. 

No deep sea fishing this weekend.  

Members draw was won by Carol Radford who was present at the draw.  

Notes

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the next outing which will be the weekend of October 7-8, due to the long weekend being the first weekend. 

This outing is ‘The 2 Ricks Memorial Shield’ for the largest estuary fish weighed in on the day.
