Invalid beliefs

Ed,

Maybe being Football finals season is a time to point out that Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) from mankind released CO2,

is as likely to cause global warming as the Brisbane Lions kicking another goal on Sunday morning and becoming the 2023 AFL champions.

At the MCG on Saturday, there were 100,000+ people.

Putting that in atmospheric terms 40 of those folks were CO2 (400 parts/million).

The release of CO2 by us folks is only 5% (1/20th) of the CO2 in the atmosphere, or just 2 of that crowd of 100,000+ fans.

(And that doesn’t even take into account that there is 50 times (+/-) the atmosphere’s CO2 stored in the oceans,

which is released or absorbed, based on the ocean’s temperature and underwater volcanoes.)

And if you think those 2, with all their barracking were going to have an effect on the score, then as the saying goes,

“I have a harbour bridge I can sell you for a dollar”.

Or as another way to put it: People-kind used to believe that the earth was flat and the sun went around the earth,

but in the future AGW will be considered No1 in the trifecta of invalid cosmic beliefs.
