History is calling

Ed,

Recently a mail out from our Federal MP Kevin Hogan stated reasons why constituents should not vote YES at the referendum. One of the reasons stated because it ‘opens the door for activists’.

History tells us that without activists we would still have slavery, apartheid, child labour and no action on climate change.

More recently, local activists have demanded better funding for our hospital, campaigned for more footpaths and currently to save Grafton Swimming Pool. Activists create a better future.

If voting YES opens the door for more activists, then everyone should vote YES.
