On Saturday February 3, 13 shooters met on the 300-yard mound for the first shoot in the 2024 Full Bore competition. Conditions were warm and humid with some cloud cover reducing the mirage.

This led to some great scores including Nick Abrahall scoring 2 perfect 50 with 10 in Sporter PC. Six possibles were shot during the afternoon with Nick scoring 50 with 5 & 50 with 10 in and Dennis Hilton 50 with 4 in Target Rifle. Nick also scoring 2 x 50 with 10 in Sporter PC and Peter Brown shooting a 50 with 8. Nick Abrahall won the Off-Rifle in Target Rifle scoring 100 with 15 and Dennis Hilton took the handicap with 101.

Visiting Junior shooter Bethany Dyason won the handicap in Sporter PC scoring 108 with Nick Abrahall taking the Off-Rifle scoring 100 with 20.

Members will meet at the 400-yard mound at 1pm on Saturday February 10.
