Grafton Jacaranda Festival wins Bronze

The Grafton Jacaranda Festival was awarded Bronze at the 2023 North Coast Tourism Awards in the Festival/Event of the Year category on July 27.

Describing the achievement as a testament to the hard work and dedication of their local community, the Jacaranda Festival Committee posted a statement on their Facebook page over the weekend, announcing they couldn’t be prouder of everyone who contributes towards making the popular annual event truly remarkable each year.

As they congratulated the category winners and runners-up respectively, Bluesfest Byron Bay and Casino Beef Week, committee members also acknowledged the many sponsors, volunteers, vendors, performers, and attendees for their ongoing support, adding the award would not have been possible without them.

“We are beyond grateful to be recognised alongside such esteemed events and festivals,” the statement read.

“The Grafton Jacaranda Festival has always been a celebration of our unique community, stunning natural beauty, and vibrant spirit.

“This award is a testament to the magic that happens when we all come together.”
