Grafton CWA Branch

The Grafton CWA branch held its monthly meeting on Friday, September 17 and 16 members were present and three apologies were accepted.

Due to mandatory restrictions for Covid-19, guidelines were enforced which as members we must abide by so that we could hold a meeting. It is wonderful that CWA can function as a branch to help others with fundraising, events to assist others within our community who require our assistance, and to have fellowship with one another again.

Due to Covid -19, Awareness Week had to cancel, also our shop window display which CWA Grafton used with Eyecare Plus was also canceled but hopefully, all will be back to normal soon. The Farmers Twilight Markets which are held in Market square had to be canceled due to restrictions, however, CWA will be rebooking this event for October.

Jacaranda Festival has been scaled down due to restrictions and some events cannot go ahead due to Covid-19 restrictions.

CWA branch will still be holding a Devonshire morning tea and a light luncheon in our rooms if restrictions have been lifted.

CWA Grafton will be holding the AGM on October 8, followed by the monthly meeting.

Handicraft morning will be held Monday, September 27 at 9.30 am, anyone wishing to join us, bring along your handicraft items and join us for morning tea and fellowship.
