The annual Grafton Bridge Congress was held online due to the Covid lockdown. Ninety teams from all over of Australia participated online using the StepBridge format. Seventy two hands of cards were played during the day. Players ranged in ability from Grand Masters to novices.
Results
Open section: 1st – David Weston and Kim Morrison (Gold Grand Masters).
Restricted section: Jake Andrew and Craig Taberner.
Novice section: Sean Quin and Thais Morgan-Pertus.
From the Grafton Club, the best players within the sections were:
Open section: Carolyn Seymour and Dennis Ford.
Restricted section: Fran Hiatt and Geoff Hiatt.
Novice section: Neil Nagle and Bob Northam.
Heather Grant and Frank Campbell from the Yamba Bridge Club did exceptionally well, coming 13th out of the the 90 teams.
