Grafton Bridge Club Congress

It was another busy week for Grafton bridge players with two club competitions and a weekend long Congress!

By Sunday afternoon, some players were feeling “bridged out”, others upbeat about their results and others vowing to do better next time. However, a good time was had by all!

Club members extended a warm welcome to out of town visitors while President Bob Northam thanked all who contributed to a very successful weekend of competitive bridge. Denise Llewellyn, the Congress organiser (and her helpers) received special mention and grateful thanks. All players appreciated the skills of visiting tournament director Julie Jeffries, who oversaw play, ruled on contested moves and incorrect bidding and kept the event running smoothly.
