What a fabulous Christmas Morning Tea!
The day was highlighted by one of our members, Judy Irving receiving the UHA’s highest award of NSW State Life Membership. So well deserved as Judy has been a valued member of the local Grafton Branch for over 30 years. Always an active member, selling raffle tickets, holding executive positions, baking, working at the Op Shop and so much more. Judy’s a quiet achiever with a smile for everyone, she just gets on with the job while passing on her knowledge to us newer members. Congratulations Judy from all at Grafton UHA, this award is only given to a limited number of candidates each year in recognition of their dedication and commitment to the values of UHA of NSW Inc.
Thank you to everyone who attended our Christmas Morning Tea, with your support and that of the community we raised approximately $5,800 which will go towards purchasing equipment for the Grafton Base Hospital. This includes raffle tickets sold prior and, on the day, entry ticket sales, tombolas and trading table purchases, and a $500 donation from Wooli Hotel Motel Social Club. Thank you all so much, hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did.
