GDSC TNT spring comp

The Spring Tuesday Night Triples (TNT) was finalised on December 14 with a full field of 84 bowlers and an excellent presentation night was had by all. once again it was great to see some new bowlers. Every regular bowler, bar staff and ‘super sub’ who played at least 6 games, received a ham, with the top 10 teams receiving a ham and a pudding.

The winning team, McKimm’s Real Estate showed their strength on the green, as well taking out the perpetual Ken O’Meara Trophy. McKimm’s collected 6 points on the final night whilst competition leaders Misfits could only manage 2 points and they were defeated by one point. Well done McKimm’s Real Estate.

The top 10 placed teams were:

McKimm’s Real Estate – 39; Misfits – 38; Oz Kiwi – 36; Team Alpha – 36; Scrubbers – 34; MRK – 30; On A Roll – 30; Ken’s – 28; Gorbos – 28; Triple Trouble – 28.

The Autumn 2022 competition will start on February 15 and all teams have re nominated. Many thanks to major sponsor GDSC who never let the TNT bowlers down, McKimm’s Real Estate, Abbey Moton Inn and Clarence Valley Wholesalers all who have sponsored TNT for many years. A big thanks to Co Organisers Paul Goratschow and Allan Gough who will their job again next year.
