The Grafton Jacaranda Festival has unveiled its first fundraiser for 2024, the JACA 10000.

As Australia’s oldest floral festival prepares to celebrate it’s 90th anniversary this year, the Clarence Valley community is being encouraged to help support the event by purchasing a ticket for the chance to win $10000 in prizemoney.

Grafton Jacaranda Festival Manager Mark Blackadder said local businesses, families, and friends, are invited to form syndicates and purchase a ticket together.

Tickets cost $500, and only 100 are available.

By purchasing a ticket, Mr Blackadder said entrants not only have a chance to win big, but they will also be supporting their local community and ensuring the Grafton Jacaranda Festival’s continued success.

“Don’t miss out on this incredible chance to make a difference while having a shot at a substantial cash prize,” he said.

The $10000 prize will be drawn publicly once all of the tickets are sold.

Fundraiser updates will be broadcast via local radio station Loving Life FM103.1, with additional details to be published in upcoming editions of the Clarence Valley Independent, who will also be covering the 90th anniversary of the Grafton Jacaranda Festival later this year.
