Yamba Surf Life Saving Club Nipper, Felix Forbes, is the Grafton Shoppingworld Junior Sportsperson of the Month for March.

Felix is part of a strong contingent of young up and coming stars in the Yamba Surf Life Saving Club ranks who achieved outstanding results during the 2022/23 season.

Competing in the Under 12 Boys Division at the NSW Surf Life Saving Championships, held at Queenscliff between February 23-26, Felix finished second in the board race, fourth in the 1km beach run, and fourth in the 2x500m beach run with Kydan Jones.

At the NSW Country Titles at Forster, held from January 27-29, he came first in the 1km beach run and Ironperson, second in the board race, and third in the mixed board relay.
