Further to your article on the Covid facemask litter (CVI 18/8/21), the sanitising stations are using millions of disposable wipes.

Both the masks and wipes (and disposable nappies) are made of plastic, and according to Google, each packet of wipes contains about 10 shopping bags worth of plastic

So much for our reduction in plastic landfill. But someone has to support the Chinese economy.
