Council Community Initiatives Program grants

Not-for-profit organisations from across the Clarence Valley can apply for a Community Initiative Program grant to assist them with projects until June 2024.

Clarence Valley Council’s Community Initiatives Program supports not-for-profit organisations to produce new or continuing projects and initiatives for the benefit of the Clarence Valley community.

Incorporated Organisations, groups with an ABN/ bank account or individuals that are auspiced by an Incorporated Organisations are invited to apply for the grants in four categories:

Cash – towards the cost of small projects/initiatives.

Rates – to cover the cost of general (council) rates. 

Fee waiver – to waive the cost of fees for hiring council venues.

Schools – $100 for awards nights.

Applications for round one grants opened on March 1 and close on April 30, the results of which will be reported at the June council meeting.

Round two grant applications open on September 1 and close on October 31, with the results to be reported at the December council meeting.
