Lynne Mowbray The Grafton and South Grafton community came together on Friday evening at the Clarence River Jockey Club (CRJC), to support the family of Clinton McGrail-Skinner. Clinton was the Grafton Ghosts rugby league under-18 captain and his untimely death sent shock waves throughout not only the rugby league community but the community in general. Organiser for the evening, Janita Cooper of South Grafton, said it was a chance for family and friends to come together and enjoy a night of fun and entertainment. “We want to create awareness and let the family and friends know that you’re not alone,” she said. Ms Cooper wished to thank the many organisations who kindly supported the event by donating entertainment, meat for the BBQ and gift packs and an accommodation package etc for Clinton’s mother and three sisters. The evening was brightened up by several teenagers and youngsters wearing colourful costumes, which were donated to add a bit of fun to the night.
